EGC TRAINING COURSES

Tailored to suit your needs...

Whether you’re at the outset of your flying career, have some previous flying experience or are well on your way to becoming the next UK gliding champion, Edgehill Gliding Centre will have an EGC Training Course that will meet your needs. We pride ourselves on not offering ‘off-the-peg’ courses, but a bespoke course for you. You will also benefit from a strong personal touch; each course will cater for a maximum of three students per instructor.

We have charted an EGC Progression Journey to give you some examples of what you could achieve by attending an EGC 5-day course at different stages of your flying career. If your ambition is to develop quickly, we recommend signing up for a course and then use other courses as stepping stones for further development. You can use your initial free EGC membership to start topping up and polishing your skills at club rates in between courses. Throughout your EGC flying career, your progress will be monitored and our instructors will provide tips and encouragement as you progress up to and beyond your first solo flights.

One thing you won’t get on an EGC Training Course is a set syllabus.
